Anhui Kanghui Biological Engineering Co., Ltd., is a famous modern large-scale enterprise for production of Chinese herbal pieces, which was established in 2000. Up to now, the products of company cover all following aspects, such as the planting of medicinal herbs, the extraction of traditional Chinese medicine, the R&D of traditional Chinese medicines, the R&D of Chinese medicine food, R&D for the medicine products from plant extracts, and so on. The production base of the company is located at the Wuma industry park of Jiaocheng district in Haozhou city. The plant was invested a total of 30, 000, 000 yuan R. M. B and covered an area of 50 mu. The company has a total construction area of 20, 000 square meters, of which a high standard of GMP plant covering 13, 000 square meters have been completed and operated in February, 2007. For promoting the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, the company plans to product 3, 000 tons of traditional Chinese herbal pieces, 2, 000 tons of Chinese herbal extract (content rates, 30 %) and 1, 000 tons of Paeoniflorin every year. The implementation of this project will promote the process of the Chinese medicine industrialization in Haozhou city, enhance the level of the Chinese medicine industry in Haozhou city and accelerate the modernization steps of the Chinese medicine industry in Anhui province.

The enterprise strictly draws up the corresponding the process and quality standards for every kinds of products according to the regulations of Chinese Pharmacopoeia. To ensure that quality and efficacy of all products, our company carried out the standardized management, the qualitative and quantitative inspections in the process of medicine productions so that each procedure was strictly operated according to SOP demands.
